The Tigers never lose…

I cheer for the Yankees. After that I just have teams that I like to see lose and I organize them in that order based on who I would rather see lose more. So, I don’t cheer for the Red Sox ever except for when they are playing the Rays this season because every time the Rays lose is a good thing.

One team that I hardly ever cheer for except for when they are playing the Rays or the Red Sux is the Tigers.

The reason is their martyr complex. The Tigers never lose. They are always somehow cheated out of winning. It’s the most annoying thing ever.  The recent series with the Yanks is proof of that. Gardner hurt a Tiger so the Tigers pitch at him two days later. Then Chad Goudan hit a tiger, then the Tigers throw behind Jeter.

Michiganders were all in an uproar! The Ump issued a warning, now he needs to throw Goudan out of the game. Chad—I can’t hit a barn if I’m standing inside of it with the doors closed—should be tossed. Because he wasn’t tossed somehow the Yankees had the umpire in their back pocket.

Oh my, you should have heard the radio announcers. It was a terrible miscarriage of justice topped only by the Enron scandal.
Here’s the problem and I realize this will come as a newsflash to some but just because the umpire issues a warning, it doesn’t mean that he actually has to toss anyone out of the game. He has to believe that the pitch was intentional. I know that’s a bit different from the way this whole “warning” thing was originally written up but go ahead and check me on this one.

So pretty much when the Tigers are playing, I want them to lose because I get tired of the whining.
Blah.
