So, I found this article on Bleacher Report today and figured I’d throw my own answers out here.
1. Who has been the best player in the AL East?
-This has to be Cano. The man has been spreading the ball around the field like a farmer fertilizing his fields.
2. And the most disappointing?
-I think this is Joba. The man is more inconsistent than a politician looking for re-election.
3. Who will win the division? And the Wild Card?
-Yankees win the division and the Rays win the Wild Card. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Red Sox actually come back and win when they are healthy but I wonder if they’ll just be too far gone. I never thought the Rays were as good as they were playing early in the seaon but I also do think they are better than the Red Sox.
4. Will your team make a splash before the trade deadline? If so, what?
-I think the Yankees are going to sit tight for the remainder of the season and for good reason.
5. What’s the most important series remaining?
-The last two Yankees/ Rays series in August that are mentioned in the original article and the Red Sox/Yankees series because it could determine the difference between the Red Sox and Rays getting the wild card.
