The Yankees lose two out of three to the Royals. Let me repeat that, the Yankees lost two out of three to the ROYALS!!!
This one should be filed under the, “this should never happen category.” Sure, they still own first place but coming off the debacle that was the trip in Texas, the Yanks need to put away teams like the Royals.
When you get down to the end of the season, you don’t want the difference between you and the other team coming down to the fact that they beat the bad teams and you didn’t. There are AAA teams that could be the Royals.
I’m not knocking the Royals (too much) and I know that on any given day any team blah blah blah blah BLAH.
If this season comes down to one or two games, this will be the series that we should look back at and say if only…
For now, I need to find something to numb my pain.
