Countdown to Opening Day

As a baseball blogger, I feel it’s my responsibility to at least make some sort of preview and predictions about the upcoming season. As a bit of a superstitious person I confess that predictions make me nervous but there’s that whole heat and kitchen thing to keep in mind so I soldier on!

So here’s how this is going to work here on this blog. As a baseball fan, I love all baseball. I mean it, I’ll watch little leaguers play if I can’t find any other baseball to watch. That said, I’m not a big fan of the NL (can you tell by my litany of derisive comments and names for it?) so we’re going to start in the AAA.5 or at best AAAA league.
Furthermore, I really don’t care all that much about the Western Divisions (except for the Dodgers and the Giants—I don’t know why) so I’ll start out there first. After going through NL we’ll move over to the AL again doing the Western Conference first.

I’m going to do 2 teams a day until we get to the AL East (this is YankeesBlog.com) at which time we’ll slow down to one team a day.

Tomorrow’s teams will be the Padres and the Diamondbacks. Come on back and tell me where you agree with me and where you think I’m wrong.
