The Yankees are rolling but…
The Yankees are rolling tonight and as I’m writing this it would seem that they are going to win easily. But hear me out…
It seems to me that this team has a bad pattern; namely it wins when it scores a lot or runs.
Right now they are hitting everything that moves and driving it far. Joba’s throwing 95+, CC is going to get the win stopping yet another Yankee losing streak of 2 or more in a row.
But…
Tex left the game with a bruised thumb.
CC gave up 5 runs tonight.

The Day After: Looking ahead…and behind a little bit
There has only been one game played in this season (at least for the next 40 minutes) so of course, everyone is breaking down last night’s debacle in Boston.
I think there is some things to be concerned about. Namely, the outfield looked inept at best. Granderson, Gardner and the lot just looked lost when it came time to deliver a big play. I imagine Grandy will even out as he becomes more comfortable in the harsh lights of life in New York, especially in the middle of the rivalry. But what if he doesn’t? What if he gets hurt. I have said all along that Javier Vasquez has better really produce. The Yankees are going to miss Melky.
